The Prospect Developer will be responsible for obtaining new business opportunities that fit 12five’s Target Market and who, through the course of the Prospect Developer’s communications with said opportunities, demonstrate a strong alignment with 12five’s core values. New business opportunities will be procured through a dual process of both direct-to-business campaigns as well as referrals from external sources. The Prospect Developer will follow the processes and procedures in place with respect to direct-to-business campaigns. The Prospect Developer will be expected to effectively and appropriately identify prospect’s needs (pain) in order to provide a recommendation as a trusted adviser for a product offered by 12five Capital. In such cases where leads don’t align with 12five’s product offerings, the Prospect Developer, with the guidance of 12five’s Leadership Team when needed, will advise prospects in a timely matter on alternative solutions and make introductions whenever possible.
Job Duties include but are not limited to the following:
Daily prospecting to new businesses.
Daily follow-up with active prospects.
Daily communications with external referral sources.
Daily logging of prospecting activities, both direct-to-business and referral source.
Maintaining strong communication through system resources used to manage prospecting, including regular updates of prospects progress through the various stages of the funding process.
Providing timely feedback to 12five staff on all inquiries regarding the Prospect Developer’s workflow and active pipeline.
Collaborating/communicating directly with the Lead Prospect Developer regarding prospecting activities, referral source activities, and active leads.
Assisting the client team with communications to active prospects nearing the point of funding in order to ensure positive transfer of the relationship.
Joining industry groups/associations and attending related meetings/events on a regular basis as a demonstration of being an active member.
Attending sales training sessions or other industry workshops/conferences that may be identified from time-to-time either by the Leadership Time or Prospect Developer.
